A Winter Weather Advisory Above 7000 Feet Remains In Effect Until 6 PM MDT Wednesday.

  • Snow Accumulations...5 To 12 Inches. Accumulations Of 8 Inches Or More Will Occur Above 8500 Feet Elevation.
  • Elevation...Above 7000 Feet.
  • Timing...Snow Will Continue To Spread Across The Central Mountains Today. The Heaviest Accumulations Are Forecast To Fall Tonight Between 6 PM MDT And 6 AM MDT.
  • Locations Include...Willow Creek Summit...Galena Summit...Smiley Creek Lodge...Copper Basin
  • Winds...South 20 To 35 Mph With Higher Gusts Becoming West And Then Northwest 15 To 25 Mph On Wednesday.
  • Impacts...The Combination Of Snow And Blowing Snow Could Reduce Visibility To Near Zero Especially Through Mountain Passes Such As Galena Summit On State Route 75.
