Blaine County 2020, WREP Virtual Tour

For several years we have listened in public meetings, private gatherings and social events to our local economy being described in terms such as “depression”, “recession”, “disaster” and the like.  While it is hard to dispute the basic premise, it occurred to us that  It might be uplifting to think about what our future might look like if our community, our local governments and our businesses pull together to bring to reality some of the key infrastructure and economic development projects currently under consideration or in the planning process.

Out of this type of thinking, WREP Director Doug Brown developed the “Blaine County 2020 Virtual Tour.”  In this fun presentation, he takes the listeners on a guided bus tour of the County after many of these projects have been implemented. The presentation has been made to a number of groups and has been received with enthusiasm as people realize what a better future is within our grasp.
