Winter Weather Advisory in Effect from 6pm Monday to 6pm MDT Tuesday

The National Weather Service in Pocatello has issued a Winter Weather Advisory above 7000 feet for snow...which is in effect from 6pm this evening to 6pm MDT Tuesday.

* Snow Accumulations: 3 to 6 inches

* Elevation: Above 7000 feet.

* Timing: From 6pm Monday to 6pm Tuesday.

* Locations include: Willow Creek Summit, Copper Basin, Galena Summit, Smiley Creek Lodge

* Impacts: Expect snow accumulations and blowing snow on mountain passes to make driving conditions hazardous.

Precautionary/preparedness actions:
A winter weather advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
