For avid music lovers out there who simply can't wait to see them -- and/or for those of you out there who won't be able to see them Saturday at Hailey's Hop Porter Park, from 1-2 p.m., during the second day of the Northern Rockies Folk Festival ( www.northernrockiesfolkfestival.com )there -- the award-winning, Los Angeles-based country/rockabilly.soul band, Gypsy River Haunts ( http://www.myspace.com/gypsyriverhaunts / ? http://www.facebook.com/people/Gypsy-River-Haunts/1833614671 ), performs this evening at the Ketchum Town Plaza (right across from Giacobbi Square), from 6-8 p.m. or so, as part of its ongoing "Music On the Square" free, weekly summer concert series there.
Also today (Thursday), at the Zenergy Health Club & Spa (245 Raven Road/ 725-0595), from approximately 5:30-8:30 p.m., there will be another one of those terrific and verrry popular outdoor/poolside concerts there that are open to Zenergy members and also to residents of the neighboring Thunderspring condo complex (as well as guests of Zenergy members and Thunderspring residents ... so ingratiate yourself accordingly!!) ... this one featuring a local band that was a HUGE, HUGE hit at the Ketchum Town Plaza just a couple of weeks ago: All-Nite Diner (Craig Meyers, Jason Vontver, Ned Wheeler, Brad Pearson -- and two the Valley's mostly celebrated female vocalists: Heidi Hogan and Cindy Solvang).
Enjoy... : )
