Company of Fools presents Edward Albee's "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?"

Scott Creighton and Jana Arnold in Company of Fools' production of "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?"
A brilliantly original work of art - an excoriating theatrical experience, surging with shocks of recognition and dramatic fire. - Newsweek

Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? opens at the Liberty Theatre on Thursday, October 14th with a special "Pay What You Feel" performance at 7:00pm.

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is an ingeniously funny play that packs a helluva wallop. What starts as verbal sparring at an impromptu cocktail party devolves into a no-holds-barred battle of wits and wills. With brilliant writing and some of the greatest characters ever created for the stage, Albee set a new standard for American theater with this sharp, vicious Molotov cocktail of a play.

Company of Fools' production, under K.O. Ogilvie's direction, stars the incomparable Jana Arnold and Scott Creighton as Martha and George.  The production also features two newcomers to the Liberty Theatre stage-- Paul L. Coffey and Beth Hilles.  They both received their M.F.A. in acting from the Brown/Trinity Rep Graduate Program (where Paul was also a Stephen Sondheim Fellow). Company of Fools is proud to present this stellar cast in a great American masterpiece.
