Sound the Horns! The Sun Valley Jazz Jamboree is Coming to Town Oct. 12th-16th

Pick up your zoot suit from the dry-cleaners, dust off those blue suede shoes, shake off that flapper dress because the Jazz festival is coming to town!   Starting Wednesday Oct. 12th this quiet little ski town will be taken over by some of the greatest Jazz musicians in the world....prepare to get Jazzed Sun Valley, New Orleans Style!

See performances from some of New Orleans top Musicians like Meschiya Lake and the Little Big Horns who just won the 2011 Big Easy Best Female Performer in New Orleans!  You do not want to miss a chance to see this band live. They were by far the highlight of my Jazz Fest. last year.  Don't believe me check out this video of a impromptu live performance on the streets of New Orleans, I mean does it get any more authentic!

Oh yeah did we mention she can dance!

Tickets are still available for the jazz festival which takes place Wednesday through Sunday at eleven venues in and around Sun Valley resort.

This year’s 22nd Annual Sun Valley Jazz Jamboree promises to be another memorable event with an amazing 42 performing groups from around the country, including 250 musicians coming together for a fun and entertaining festival.

Whether you want to attend the entire five days or just enjoy a weekend, single-day, or evening, the Jamboree has diverse styles of jazz, big band swing, zydeco, blues and dancing available for music enthusiasts of all ages! Dance lessons, competitions and prizes are also available to Jamboree attendees. Free shuttles will run during the entire event and food and beverages will be available for purchase at most locations as well.
