“The film is a culmination of two years of shooting and editing footage that illustrates the search for untapped terrain and deep powder in the Wyoming mountains,” said Wyoming Triumph co-producer Sam “Little Pony” Pope. “The film is shot 100-percent in Wyoming and brings out that Old West feel of the state and its beauty that not many people might know about.”

Wyoming Triumph is a story of life in the mountains and the search for purity and freedom. Shot over the course of two years (2009-2011), Wyoming Triumph is a grassroots film featuring a veteran and youthful band of ski and snowboard friends and professionals who travel throughout the great, big, mountainous backcountry terrain of Wyoming in search of fresh lines and remote locations. The film features skiers and snowboarders: Rob Kingwell, Rob LaPier, Trevor Thomas, Trevor Hiatt, North Parker and Tucker Mead., plus more.

Filmed entirely in Wyoming, the film not only explores the drive of a unique group of passionate individuals, but also takes the viewer on a Wild West journey through rugged parts of the Equality State. The film artfully documents the vast, winter terrain Wyoming has to offer in a progressive cinemagraphic format.

Wyoming Triumph’s showing at the Sun Valley Opera House on Wed. Dec 7 will be at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 and available at Chapter One Bookstore and at the door. Beer special $1 PBR’s and raffle. Athletes and production crew will be on hand.
