Retail Sales & Service Representative ¿ Bilingual Preferred
Our Retail Sales & Service representative will be responsible for driving the retail sales channel for Cox products and services while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty by handling customer requests, inquiries and complaints regarding orders, billing and service in a professional manner. Responsible for exceeding growth and profit objectives by maximizing the retail sales of individual and bundled video, voice and data services.
Work Location: 105 Lewis Street, Ketchum ID
Reports to: Sales and Service Manager
Pay Range: Min: $12.46 Mid: 15.58 Base + Commission Opportunity
(TTC 38,500 Pay Mix 80/20)
Shift: Monday ¿ Friday Days
Key Responsibilities and Job Duties:
¿ Maximize each sales opportunity by selling products offered by Cox Communications to new and existing customers ensuring sales goals are consistently met.
¿ Demonstrate an expert level of understanding in our various products and services to ensure an accurate description is provided to customers ensuring quality sales and retention.
¿ Perform multiple order entry functions for all products and services, billing system, and consistent use of all online resources contributing to accurate and timely customer transactions.
¿ Maintaining daily payment batch in compliance with audit guidelines. This includes the balancing and security of a cash drawer at all times and accurate customer payment processing.
¿ Follow through on all customer transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
¿ Demonstrates thorough knowledge of Core Success Factors, company policies, and office procedures.
¿ Responsible for meeting established sales objectives by matching customer needs with the right products and services.
¿ Executes promotions and campaigns designed to increase brand equity and achieve sales objectives.
¿ Builds and maintains relationships with potential and existing customers.
¿ Aids customers in completing purchases and resolving issues.
¿ Offers product suggestions to customers to help satisfy their needs.
¿ Strives to exhibit best-in-class customer service skills.
¿ Contributes to up-keep and cleanliness of store.
¿ Continuously expands knowledge of current Cox services and products.
¿ At higher levels, plays a key role in handling customer escalations.
¿ Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
¿ Proven ability and knowledge of consultative sales skills.
¿ Demonstrated skills in providing excellent customer service.
¿ Proven oral, written, and verbal communication skills.
¿ Ability to perform job responsibilities independently.
¿ Ability to operate PC, credit card terminal, ten-key adder, facsimile, copy machine, scanner and cash drawer.
¿ Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy of work.
¿ Ability to work flexible hours and change location of work with little or no notice.
¿ Must have a valid driver¿s license.
Education and Experience:
¿ Requires a High School diploma, GED, or relevant experience. Some college preferred.
¿ Minimum of 1-2 years of retail, sales or customer service experience.
Physical Requirements:
¿ See well enough to read terminal and reports.
¿ Hear and speak well enough to converse on telephone and monitor telephone.
¿ Manual dexterity to operate keyboard and other office equipment.
¿ Stand for long periods of time.
¿ Ability to lift 30 lbs.
