The center piece is a handcrafted medallion of .999 Fine Silver

This timeless design features teardrops of Brandy Citrine and Turquoise which are spaced with tiny Citrine rondelles accented with Sterling Silver beads and clasp.

The fine silver medallion I hand crafted from “Precious Metal Clay”. This unique form of silver is initially a soft, clay like material. After sculpting a piece of this material, I fire it in a jewelers kiln, polish, hand apply a patina and polish again. The result is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece that is almost Pure Fine Silver (99.9%).

Citrine is the modern November birthstone, the Planetary stone for Virgo, and the accepted gem for the 13th and 17th wedding anniversaries.

Turquoise is the one of the official birth stones for the month of December as adopted by the American National Association of Jewelers in 1912 and the Planetary stone for Aquarius, Taurus and Sagittarius.

Folklore, Legend, and Healing Properties:

Citrine is believed to help the heart, kidney, digestive tract, liver and muscles. It promotes creativity, helps personal clarity and eliminates self-destructive tendencies.

Turquoise attracts money, success and love. Its powers include protection, healing, courage, friendship, and luck. Relaxes the mind, and eases mental tension.

Turquoise is sacred to many Native American's and was carved in the shape of animals and birds. These carvings were placed in the Indians tombs to attract beneficial spirits and to guard the dead. Turquoise was also used by medicine men for healing and by warriors who fixed turquoise to the end of their bows to insure accurate shots.
