Marketing Coordinator Erikka Gulbranson would like to announce that Mountain Rides and The Community School have signed an agreement allowing students and staff to have unlimited access to ride the bus through the remainder of the school year, picking up again when school starts in the fall. "We are excited for the partnership between The Community School and Mountain Rides to grow and become an educating experience for students in the Wood River Valley. Every time we have the opportunity to teach young adults the benefts of leaving the car at home, the more of an impact we have on that individuals carbon footprint in this valley." Students and Staff members will receive a bus I.D. card that will allow the rider unlimited transportation throughout the valley, 7 days a week. "We are proud of The Community School Administration, Students, Staff and Parents for recognizing the need for an alternative transportation source when getting to school or around town to different events and look forward to educating students with our Safe Routes to School Program as well as Adults with our Smart Moves Campaign.

Improvements to the FREE Town Schedule include new routes, extended times and more service. Board Members, City Officials, Sun Valley Company Employees and Local Residents worked side-by-side planning out the new times to work in conjunction with tourist, employee and local needs. Erikka Gulbranson, MRTA Marketing Coordinator stated, "We are very excited to announce that the NEW Town Schedule was a successful collaboration of bus riders and hopeful bus riders alike. We are looking forward to a exciting time, as people are leaving their cars at home and jumping on the bus."

The Valley Route has also seen a face-lift in the NEW schedule, making several changes after a survey was completed by 500 local businesses and residents, requesting more service hours, extra stops and pick-up times for students heading to after-school activities.
