Please join Friesen Gallery this November as we celebrate the bold and evocative paintings of colorist Ron Ehrlich and the vibrant work of Argentinean painter, Sebastian Spreng. Inspired by Japanese Bizen ceramic techniques, Ehrlich incorporates three-dimensional qualities onto the canvas with a vigorously applied and seamless juxtaposition of both color and texture. In Spreng’s work, color achieves a different reaction entirely; the semi-abstract landscape paintings are gauzy and serene, resulting in a contemplative and pastoral beauty. The exhibition will be on view through December 20.
